Aargh, I was hoping I might have an FO to show in this week’s post.. have finished the (short) sleeves and both front bands except the buttonhole band was to be frogged and reknit with a few mods (plus fix the crooked picking up of stitches..).
’till I realised a couple minutes ago I’ve actually frogged the wrong side front band !!! Booh !!
So now I have to redo both front bands. Not that much of a drama, only a dozen rows each, but still. I’m just so excited by this cardi, probably the best looking garment I’ve ever knit, and my own design too.. I can’t wait to see it actually finished to allow myself to be happy about it !! 😛
We’re off to the beach on thursday for a long week-end. That’ll be nice. It already feels sooo much like summer here.
Oh, and I can’t post today without a little sigh of relief: Sunday was the first round of our elections for the next President. Although my favorite (the orange guy !) didn’t make it, it’s still a big satisfaction to see Mr Le Pen go back to more “normal” scores and that so many of us voted.
That looks lovely! Can’t wait to see it in action.
Oh, and thank you for setting up that Flickr goup – just seeing all the photos of patterns together makes me see them in a different light.
