A very mini

So I just finished Prune’s skirt… finally. Tried to make the best of the yarn I had (really liked that color) but it doesn’t make a very long skirt…! I guess I may make another longer one with some Cotonina, and with eyelets (and i-cord or something..) around the waist so it stays where it should ..! Doesn’t show well on that pic but it’s got eyelet and lace rows. Sort of the same kind of look as Kat Koyle’s eyelet skirt on Knitty.

It also took me ages but I sewed the buttons on my lime cardi yesterday. Despite the 26

i love you ans miss you! Sorry I haven’t written back in so long! I think about you all the time! Prune’s present got pissed on by my stupid cat!!!!!!!! And I’ve been waiting on crystal palace to send me some yarn that they seemed to have forgotten about! Fuckers! Anyways, Nia will be modeling the sweater soon! Helena plays with the cat and as soon as I find the extra time I will do the pictures, although part of me thinks that it’s too nice and sentimental to give to a drooling baby! (maybe I’ll keep it as a keepsake and give it to her when she’s older??!!)
I’m doing roller derby (read- eats up more time!) I’m fresh meat and just trying out so… wsh me lots of luck. So far I have spent 500 bucks on skates and equiptment! Sheesh! That’s alot of yarn!
