Remember that last pic I showed last week ? There was a lot of ripping and re-crocheting since, first because I didn’t have enough of the green yarn, and then because I had to change the numbers a bit…
But now it’s done and I LOVE it !! I’m just so happy when a design flows and works out perfectly. The pattern will be so easy and seamless too, just as I like them ! Now I need to make another one in Kureyon (his one is made with a local yarn) for the actual pattern instructions, and maybe add a couple optional variations to the pattern…
I’m also that close from having finished the blankie for my friend (yep, I hope she doesn’t read this) exept I’ve run out of the fushia yarn, which is like 20 years old so there’s not much chance to find any more around. Have looked everywhere in the house to see if had any more, no such chance yet. I could rip the border and crochet a smaller one but really I’ve been working on this one for so long now that I just want it done. Plus I like this edging, and it would be nice to have it done so I can give it to her for Xmas…
So I’ve found some similar colored yarn that should work fine enough. No sparkly mettallic thread in that one but for only one side of edging, nobody will see the difference, right..? !! 🙂
I’ve also did some spinning experiments lately, will share pics once I’ve washed and blocked the new yarn.
And I’ll leave you with one funny thing: I am totally aware this is probably due to the fact that Googles connects me automatically to Google.fr and ChezPlum is a website located in France, but still… ChezPlum coming up as the very first result when searching for “tutorial handmade”… !!! 😀
Nope – I Googled you and got exactly the same on Google.com!
The hat looks great!
I hope you and your family had a lovely Xmas. Happy new year too! See you soon. xx
