Just found this cool aplet (is that how you call those ?), Spell with Flickr.
The best is you can actually change each letter until you like the one you’re getting… 🙂
Yesterday was Prune’s very first “day” (actually only a couple hours) of school. Yes, kids start school at 3 over here, which is pretty nice. Both for me (we’re starting a business with L., it will be easier to find time to work on the project…) & for her : she’s getting easily bored at home now.
I took those pics just before we left. She was kind of stressed, but it went pretty smoothly.. Two of her daycare best buddies are in the same class, including M., the ex-boyfriend who broke her heart..!! ;-P
She needed school slippers, which we bought yesterday. But white ? Boring ! We decorated them this morning…
And finally, how’bout some knitting..? I’ve started a second Isabeau shrug, using Phildar Aurore (V. similar to Rowan KSH, except for the silk content..). Made a first start with the normal size needles (5 mm as main size) but the ribbing was so loose I didn’t think it’d work. So I started again with 4 mm as main size needles and am liking it a lot so far. Let’s just hope it fits..
Cute shoes! Do they come in adult sizes? 😉
And the shrug looks lovely in the mohair. Amazing how different something can look just by changing the fibre – it was gorgeous before, but this one will be fab 😀
that’s a cool tool, thanks for making it known. 🙂 have fun at school, prune! my sister is starting school next week, she’s five.
Spell with Flickr is so fun! 🙂
Glad to hear Prune had a good first day at school and she also probably has the prettiest slippers in her class.
I am sure Prune will love school, she looks so grown up! good luck with the business.
