So I finally finally finished my new cardi, “Plumetis”.
I probably had to redo the front bands 10 times, too many stitches picked up, buttonholes off-centered by one stitch, then again too many stitches picked up (now 20 stitches fewer than my first try I believe), ..and then I realised I needed twice more buttons… I tell you I was happy when I finally finished !!
And now to rip it … Ha, the sleeves only, did I get you ?!! 😉 , to make the long sleeve version. Then type the pattern. And work on more sizes… I’ll be looking for some pattern testers btw. Anybody ? More details later.
We came home yesterday night from our mini vacation on the Riviera. So nice. We stayed at our friend’s place, just one block from the beach and harbour. Both girls loved playing in the sand, Prune got a ride in the kayak… And we swam too ! Seems the water was 18° C, not too bad for april no ?
The drive back home was loooong though, with prune super tired from 2 late nights.. she ended up vomiting her dinner in the car. Welcome home..!! 😛
OH MY GOODNESS the plumetis is so beautiful!
did anyone say pattern testers? hmm???? I don’t usually knit sweaters but this is too gorgeous to pass up. plus i can do it over the summer when the baby comes! just a thought…
great pattern!
That is such a cute sweater! I’d like to test knit it!
I’m game to test knit – love your stuff AND I have freshly empty needles…
Let me know!
Very cute sweater. It looks great!
What a lovely cardi! It looks like it’ll be a great spring/summer coverup. I’ll look forward to seeing the longer sleeved version, too 🙂
Sylvie, that is simply gorgeous. You must be so pleased with it.
Such a cute cardigan – and your girls look adorable.
Also wanted to say a huge thank you for the yarn which i recieved last week – yay!
The sweater looks faboo my dear! Wish I had some time to pattern test because that design is definitely cool. I know how it feels to be happy upon completion however. Oh, too well.
That is a lovely little cardi. I especially like the colour you used (I’m on a bit of a green kick this Spring :).
Sorry I’m a bit late on this one, but that is lovely 🙂 Another corker from you chickie! And naturally I’d be glad to help out on testing again 😉
