One week left

Next week-end is Christmas with the in law family and it’s now December. So I got Prune a little Advent calendar, she gets her little chocolate each day…
Yesterday we made a Xmas tree with a Nappies cardboard box, coloured crepe paper, and a stapler.. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, plus it didn’t cost me a thing and doesn’t take any room in our overcrowded small place! It hangs on the mirror, which I like to hide anyway. (I’ve read one day that open mirrors aren’t “feng sui”, and although I’m certainly not a feng shui person I do agree with that. Don’t like open cupboard doors and big mirrors, unless behind doors..)

Oh, and this morning we made an ugly little Santa… 😛

I’ve finished the beret for my MIL, will take a pic this afternoon when the girls are at daycare (yes, BOTH !! 😀 ). Progressed a bit on the capelet. It should be quick though, now that I have the right hook again. And then I want to make a pair of wristwarmers for my other SIL, maybe with that lovely light green Colonia 140 Yahaira sent me ages ago. And then in an ideal world I’d also make a hat for my FIL as he’s been asking for it for over 10 years.. ;-P
