Cute little stars

I’ve started several things, and yet not much to show. Made a mitten with my pink Malabrigo Merino, but it ended being too short so I rewrote all the numbers and started a second one. Have to finish the thumb on that one and sew it (yep, I knit them flat, just so much quicker in my book). Not too sure I’ll like those for me though (strange that I like it for a cardi and not for mittens ?), so they might go to a present / my Etsy shop, and I’ll make more in some yummy deep fuschia and luscious green yarn in the stash. Told you I’d make tons of them… ;-P

Have also started on the 2nd capelet for my SIL. Same yarn, but in a lighter nearly lilac shade.
I thought I’d be smarter and instead of making the capelet and then go along the collar stitches again to make the collar, do it all at once. HA ! There was a reason to do it this way: foundation row was way too tight to be the top of a collar, it would have ended all wonky ! So I just frogged those 4 rows, and started all again. Live and learn.

So all you’ll get this time is a pic of those: Super quick stars we made yesterday with Prune thanks to this tutorial ! Cute little stickers were cut out from “Pylones” larger stickers.

Oh, and Happy Holidays to you all ! We’ll be at my parent’s for the week-end, let’s hope for some snow. I bought Prune a snowsuit the other day, and she’s soooo eager to go sledging again !!
